BSB First is our monthly subscription service, created to surprise you with the freshest, most noteworthy titles and support our favorite authors. BSB First Fiction will offer carefully chosen first edition fiction titles, and BSB First Picture Books will provide beautiful first edition picture books.These are prepaid subscription clubs that you can join in three-, six-, or twelve-month increments.
We will send you diverse literary fiction with compelling stories and strong voices. These books will always be first editions because they are brand new releases. Occasionally they may even be signed by the authors. We will mail one shiny, new hardcover book straight to your door every month.
This subscription is for the little ones in your life who aspire to be as sophisticated as their older role models. (And, hey, why not show them another way to support their local bookstore?) Each month we’ll send you one handsome, just published hardcover picture book. You can count on BSB First to send you diverse picture books with beautiful art and compelling messages.
We know how hard it can be to choose books for those middle grade readers, so we'll make it easy! Just give them a BSB First Middle Grade subscription, and they'll receive a carefully chosen book every month. We'll choose across a variety of genres to keep it interesting, and as always, you can count on us to pick beautiful, thoughtful, diverse titles.
Here’s the scoop: BSB First is a monthly subscription service. When you join you will start receiving one specially selected book each month mailed to your door. That book will always be a brand new release, hardcover, and it will always be a book we, your booksellers, are excited to share with our community.
As indie booksellers, we relish the chance to curate books that we think will appeal to our customers. These books are carefully selected by our experts. You can buy a three-, six-, or twelve-month subscription in each club. Prices vary based on club and length of subscription. Simply fill out the form below!
As soon as you sign someone up, we will immediately send them a certificate which explains the program and who sent it to them so that they will know who to thank when they start receiving their signed books!
You will be charged once at the beginning of your subscription for the full term of your subscription.
Once you’re signed up, you will start receiving your subscription the following month, so if you sign up in March your first book will arrive in April. We will try to get your book to you as early as possible each month, but since release dates vary, you may not receive your package until the middle (and perhaps, occasionally, the end) of the month.
We think you’ll love each book, but you can return any selection within two weeks of receiving it for store credit.
