Interested in teaching with us? BSB welcomes proposals from members of the local community to teach writing workshops, lead reading groups, or offer other creative and learning opportunities this fall and onward into next year, as we expand our Ithaca Is Books initiative. We hope to reach a broad spectrum of the Ithaca community with our classes. Given the range of subject matter books can hold, we are open to all possibilities, be it fiction writing, crafts, science, history, nature, or art, to name just a few. We are seeking classes for adults as well as youth programming. Classes can be be a one-time workshop or can run as a recurring class for up to eight sessions. Past classes have been held online, but we are happy to collaborate with instructors to consider safe options for an in-person class, either outdoors or masked in the store. Please email a short description of your proposed class and a bio via the contact form. We are also interested in partnering with other local organizations and nonprofits on further offerings, and are excited possibilities for collaboration -- please feel free to reach out.
